6.0 Earthquake brought the Tafuna streets alive once again!

Panic was obvious again today as the EOC issued a notice for schools to evacuate to higher grounds shortly after the earthquake this afternoon Oct 19, 2009 at 11:53 am. In just 15 minutes, the Tafuna/Iliili route clogged to almost a standstill as parents rushed to retrieve their kids. The notice was just a precautionary measure as NOAA never officially issued a tsunami Warning, let alone Watch as a result of the earthquake.
These series of recurring Earthquakes seem to be here to stay. Lets hope theyre not paving the way for something big. Something to think about.

David Tua strikes again

dsa
In the much anticipated bout recognised by the boxing world as "The Fight of the Century", the ending was convincing and sudden.
The media showed supporters doubt on Tua's abilities and most locals(NZ) were ready to support a much younger kiwi Mountain Warrior. Those doubts evaporated when the Mt Warrior looked to have lost control of his feet towards the dying seconds of the first round.. (+) see video
